Subdivisions

Woods Excavating builds residential subdivisions and condominium sites from raw land to town acceptance: clearing, roads, public water main extensions and on-site water, sewer or shared leach-field systems, storm drainage, foundation excavation and backfill, gravel subbase and base, paving, slipform curb, and loam and seed. Earthwork, utilities, and paving are sequenced so builders can start houses while the road finishes, and the road is built to the standard the town inspects to before it takes it. Sites have ranged from a handful of lots to more than 40 units, including ledge and wetland crossings.
