Ledge removal and processing

Woods Excavating removes and processes ledge as part of a site package or on its own: drilling and blasting, hydraulic hammers on company excavators, rock excavation, and crushing and screening of the shot rock on site into structural fill, subbase, and base gravel meeting MDOT specifications. Rock is quantified and sequenced in the estimate, the method is matched to the rock, the depth of cut, and what stands next to it, and processed material goes back into the job in place of imported gravel. Work has ranged from a single rock trench to sites where most of the ground is rock, in urban corridors and beside wetlands.
