Box culverts

Woods Excavating replaces culverts and small stream crossings for municipalities and private owners: precast box culverts and three-sided bridge structures, from removal of the existing barrel through stream diversion and dewatering, precast footings and sections set, structural backfill, and the roadway rebuilt over the structure. The work is planned backward from the reopening and sequenced inside the closure window, with the crossing, dewatering, and erosion control carried through the job. Structures approaching 100 feet in length on clear spans to 16 feet have been set this way.
